But first! The biggest of sportsball congrats goes to the Chiefs and their consistent ability to score more points than their opponents this season. Regardless of your interest in the game, its always nice to see strangers hugging strangers in celebration. We don't know about y'all, but we especially enjoyed watching the game with the Spanish language broadcast, rather than the typical, stodgy Fox-cast...AYE YI YIIIIIIII!
Secondly! Our new The Ringer is tasting absolutely fantastic. We knew it was going to be tough to follow up the Pineapple Pig, but Owner/Chef Cary really come through with this one: Tofu-King Good! Dried and pressed tofu is deep fried and combined with a sesame oil-grilled flour tort, which holds a lime-carrot slaw, house pickles, sesame seeds and a lovely gochujang sauce which provides a little heat and a little sweetness. It's also beautiful to look at. COME GET IT WHILE YOU CAN.
OK! Finally! We've gotten some people in our little shop turned on to the wild world of Mezcal. Now is the time to turn the shop over to Anthony and Doug on MONDAY FEBRUARY 10th and let them guide you through an introduction to mezcal.
