Our Latest News, Indeed

It is no secret that we are facing some difficult times ahead of us all. The restaurant and hospitality industry faces some especially trying circumstances. We have found ourselves in the unfortunate position of relying on public interaction for our livelihood, when that very public interaction is a concern for spreading a very harmful contagion. We also acknowledge that our reach extends beyond ourselves. This is especially worrisome when we have care-givers and 'at-risk' individuals within that reach.

Thus, we have decided to hit 'pause' on our daily operations at Team Taco, effective Tuesday, March 17th.

We know the upcoming days are going to test all of us. We also know that we all are going to have to adjust our lifestyles and work together to soften the effects of this virus. Accordingly, we have decided to devote what resources we do have to our employees in order to help them weather the difficulties that lie ahead, so that our crew may return ready to rock/funk 'n roll, whenever things have become manageable.

Please stay tuned to this email list, as well as our social media fronts on our website, Instagram and Facebook. We'll do our absolute best to keep our and your spirits up during these unknown times. All we ask is that you all do the same to yours and the other humans you will encounter. And just maybe that extended kindness will help lead to better days.

Wait! There is one more thing that you all could do for us. Would you mind tagging @teamtacosgf with pictures of your pups or cat-floofs? We do get a bunch of great doggos that come by the shop, and it would be a shame to not see them for a while...

With digital hugs and analog love,

The Skeleton Crew @ Team Taco

Dear Team Taco Friends...

As awareness of Covid-19 increases, we wanted to update our customers on what we are doing to keep our community as safe as possible.

If you have been in the shop in the last couple of days, you may notice our boys walking around spraying door handles, sauce bottles and our iPad screen with sanitizer, as well as countertops and seats. Those efforts will continue on an increased basis as we try to keep those common contact points clean and safe.

  • If any of our employees are exhibiting any symptoms, they will be instructed to stay home.

  • Hand washing regimens, as established by our health department, will be increased in frequency, particularly after handling cash transactions.

  • So! All this is to say that until we are instructed by health care officials, our doors will be open and we'll be here for all your taco and agave needs! Special events (like our Mezcal Mondays and our larger outdoor events) will now be on a TBD basis.

Until then! Stay safe, be considerate of your fellow humans and wash those hands!

With love, air hugs and sanitizer,

Skeleton Crew @ Team Taco

That's right. Its time to talk Mezcal!

That's right. Its time to talk Mezcal!

We've gotten some people in our little shop turned on to the wild world of Mezcal. Now is the time to turn the shop over to Anthony and Doug on MONDAY FEBRUARY 10th and let them guide you through an introduction to mezcal. Consider this evening to be a 101 Intro to Mezcal Appreciation kind of night [that is to say that we will be able to repeat this evening if some of y'all miss out]. Here are some highlights of the evening…
