Just a quick check-in with everyone! You may have noticed some boards that went up on our building a while back. Well now they have an awesome community-themed piece by one of our regulars/collaborators Chris Mostyn. Go check em out!
"So when you guys gonna open back up?" Great question! We have plans in the works to open up SAFELY in the 'new normal'. We already had our big patio project workin' before COpocalypse and it looks like our good friends at Stinson Building Company can get started in the upcoming days!
What do operations look like in the #newnormal you ask? We will be opening once we have all of our safety precautions in place that will keep all of our employees safe, then by extension (as long as everyone plays nice) our customers. We will definitely be a to-go only facility for the foreseeable future and we will be diving into ways to safely (and accurately) communicate orders with customers. We will NOT (nor have we ever) be doing any 3rd party deliveries.
What's the timeline look like then? Not sure! But soon! We aren't a big fan of hard dates around here because...well...you know....Watching how scenarios have played out across the country, as well as in our own city, we have A TON to consider when opening back up to the public. We've seen a lot of crazy ups and downs already and we want to be able to stay open for good once we open back up-which will absolutely require us to change how we operate.
It would take MULTIPLE email blasts to delve in to even a small portion of the wildly fluctuating scenarios that small restaurants are facing (and will face). But the only way we are going to make it is going to be with patience, understanding, kindness and all of us to be willing to look beyond ourselves in the upcoming months.
In the meantime, if you feel safe and can get to a space that is operating safely, with people respecting everyone, please go do it! And if you are at those spots and you want to support them further please consider buying some merch to share. Gift cards are fine and all, but merch is a GREAT way to support the business in real time, get the word out and give people wardrobe options..
ALSO! You guys peeped Tie and Timber Brewing Company and Mother's Brewing Company's new back yards? Doooooo it.
Miss you all!
